On July 4th, we decided to head downtown to see the fireworks! It was very crowded but we got us a spot on the grass at Centennial Olympic Park. We just finished our picnic, we the skies opened up to a huge down pour! We raced the crowds to CNN center and then to Marta. Daniel and I were taking turns pushing the stroller and running with Grant. Everyone was screaming. It was lightening and the roads filled up with about a foot of water in a matter of minutes. Grant thought it was all part of the game!!! Such a trooper!!! He was laughing the whole time. We got him home by 9:30 pm and put him to bed. He did not even cry once and it was past his bedtime. The next night we returned and he loved the fireworks once he got used to the noise. That night he stayed up til 11:30 pm. He was good then also!!!
