So some of you have heard me talk about my nephew Andrew. Andrew is my sister Karen's little boy. He is approximately 7 weeks older than Grant. If I had a bad pregnancy, Karen had an HORRIBLE pregnancy. Thing is, Karen has Croan's Disease.. Unfortunately, she was not in readmission when she got pregnant. So she had quite a few flare-ups that put her in the hospital and she was even taken to the state hospital. Anyway, a lot of the time we were not sure if Andrew would make it. But he did! What a little miracle baby! Andrew was born a very healthy little boy with all fingers and toes! Unfortunately, as time progressed, Karen noticed that Andrew wasn't meeting his milestones. He also had some repetitive tendencies. Yep, you guessed it, Andrew was diagnosed Autistic. The good news is that it seems to be a mild case and that he will most likely live a very normal life. In fact, when Karen tells me what Andrew is up to these days, it seems right on cue based on what Grant is doing... Not that I think Grant should be norm for everyone else. Here is a picture slide show of Andrew - the miracle baby!
