Loaf a Lot

He knew we were close. He smelt it through the air coming in from the AC. Wurstig loves Dauphin Island more than anything else in the world.

The Kuemmerle Clan made it – 7 hours to the beach. We made it to our little piece of heaven by the beach. It is not much. The house hasn’t been kept up to date but there is magic there. I become a very relaxed mother. The dogs and kids play all day. We all take time and sit around and do nothing for hours on end. If there were roses there to smell, I would be smelling them.

We swam.. we kayaked… we had good times.

Even Wurstig got to experience Kayaking.. I am not sure he enjoyed it.

Much Better!

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip, That started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny ship. The mate was a mighty sailin' man, the Skipper brave and sure. Five 15 passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour. A three hour tour.

Seriously, we did. We went on a three hour tour to see the sites. A sunset tour.

And the rest of the week, we loafed a lot, went out to dinner, played with fireworks and worked on potty training. By the end of the week, Miles decided that potty training wasn’t for him and he decided to kick the potty across the pavement (I have video but will not be posting it because of him in the nude). He then picked it up and tossed. Ha.. but he did very well going potty at least three or four times a day.
