Grant's first real stomach virus. Yes, he has thrown up before but mostly because of fever or sinus drainage. This time was the real thing. He has had the other before a lot but nothing to make him vomit. It lasted a long time. We would think he was getting better and then, he would get sick again. His school thought we were making it up - he was fine during the day (after the dr said he wasn't contagious anymore, he had to go back to school). It happened only at night. He went twice to the doctor...that is more than he has ever been before for being sick..(don't worry Miles has made this up for him).
On Friday, the doctor prescribed an antibiotic.. His first one. Again, Miles has taken more than enough for him. Grant has always asked for medicine (he actually downed some cough syrup when he was two - another scary story) but I am forcing him to take this medicine. He has now learned medicine isn't always yummy.
He hasn't been sick since Friday...so it seems like it is working. Poor kid.
