Really why?

I have never understood car payments. I did it once when I bought the VW Passat. I had to have that car! I didn't care how much the payments were. Straight out of college... it was so important. Now, I know better. I won't being doing car payments again. We have been car payment free for 1 year. And with that.. we only had 155 dollars per month before that. I just can't give my money away any longer. I like the Dave Ramsey's approach on buying cars. I will not give my money away to the banks any longer.
