Grant got one of the last three spots! Unfortunately, a lot of his classmates (from pre-K) did not get in. The waiting list is currently 11 students long. Now, lets hope that he gets the male teachers.
This school will be a little tough on us because it is a lot like Private School. We will have to put in volunteer hours and do fundraising. One good thing, is that they don't believe in busy work. So Grant will not be bringing home worksheets to keep his evening hours busy. He will have a reading list but that is to be expected.
I was so nervous last night waiting for his name to be called. You would have thought he was trying to get in college.
and Grant said when I told him the news "it better have a playground."
Me- "Grant we pass the playground almost everyday."
