Really, the neighbor turn-out was awesome. There were so many kids (and adults and doggies) in the park playing that it was so noisy. You could hear all the kids laughing and sledding. I love the sounds of my neighborhood! There are so many lovely sounds in Grant Park; I hear the kids laughing (up to over 1000 kids under 12 now), the sounds of JazzFest, sounds of movie night, sounds of neighbors greeting each other.... I Love these sounds! Don't forget the lion roaring from the zoo... It is also fun to feel like you are living in a jungle.
