Well Nourished!

We spent Valentines' Day in the hospital! Miles had a very high and a very low temperature. He didn't know that he was supposed to be sick. We never did figure out what was wrong but everything seems to be ok now. He had every kind of test...CBC, spinal tap, urinalysis, etc. It was difficult to see them catheterize, give him a spinal tap, and find a vein (the second ER visit, they never did find a vein). The nurses said he was too well nourished. But he did so well. He thought his wires were something to play with.

I felt so bad for the guy.... he had all of these tests done and he was kept up with checking vitals and they never did anything for his fever or hypothermia except to give him Motrin. We could have done that at home.

I will now learn how my new insurance works and I am sure we have now met our deductible for the year.
